BUFKIT is a forecast profile visualization and analysis tool kit developed by the staff at the National Weather Service (NWS) office in Buffalo and the Warning Decision Training Branch (WDTB) in Norman, OK. BUFKIT is available to anyone who is interested in the analysis of forecast hourly profiles. Please note, the data provided on this page may not be available at all times. Thus, check the timestamp near each model type to ensure that you are retrieving current or recent data. To download click the appropriate location on the map, or select the location below the map with the right mouse button. In Netscape Navigator choose "save link as". In Internet Explorer chose "save target as". Then use the resulting navigation box to specify the local location to save the file and click save. |
Please note, eta_aaaa.buf and etam_aaaa.buf filenames changed to nam_aaaa.buf and namm_aaaa.buf respectively, effective March 15, 2007. |
